Well home product guide 2019.
I am breaking this up into a series so that it isn’t an extremely long read
A well home is a sanctuary and while we spend a lot of time ensuring our homes look great and are clean, we should also be ensuring that our homes are safe environments for our families. I have compiled some of my favorite products that I use around my home to make it a bit more well. This is not a sponsored post neither are an of these products new to my home as everything I will ever recommend to you will be tried & true. These are things I keep in rotation that you can implement in your homes to become more eco friendly and eliminate toxic materials in your home.
Moringa, Hibiscus, Green tea..OH MY!!
Moringa leaf is the star of this blend as it is one of the most beneficial trees around. Check out the many benefits of the ingredients below:
Moringa leaf: High in antioxidants, potassium and Vitamin C which makes it an immune boosting cell creating power house. This helps to lower oxidative stress which combats cancer. Also rich in Vitamins A & E. Rich in minerals, amino acids & nutrients as well as an anti-inflammatory & it helps to lower cholesterol & maintain glucose levels.
Hibiscus- One of my favorite flowers as it is a power house on it’s own, helping to combat chronic illnesses such as high blood pressure & diabetes. High in antioxidants as well as supports the functions of the liver & digestive system AND boost the metabolism.
Are you following why I named this tea blend “The Works”, already.
Rosehips- Rosehips are the seeds of the rose plant and is also high in antioxidants. (I almost named this tea Anti as it is full of antioxidant rich plants) Rosehips are also Vitamin C rich and helps to lower the risk of heart disease. Rosehips can act as a diuretic aiding the body in removing toxins, excess fat & salt.
Stevia leaf- (Leaf not the GMO processed chemical shit storm you get in the supermarket) is sooooooo good for you. A natural sweetener without all the calories of sugar. Stevia helps to control diabetes through it’s main compound stevioside which is absorbed through the bacteria of the colon as opposed to the blood stream. The compounds in stevia also help to control blood pressure and helps to lower cholesterol levels.
This blend can be customized to exclude the green tea for a caffeine free cup. I prefer it with the green tea as it provides a more mellow taste as I tend to aim for more bitter tasting teas. Just my preference. If you would like a custom regimen shoot me a quick message & I will answer any questions you may have.
Breakfast is a complete & utter challenge for me as most mornings I do not wake up hungry. I am not a sweets person so the idea of a sugary laden bowl of cereal or plate of pancakes, french toast etc. I normally opt for a fresh fruit smoothie and some tea but avocado toast has been my go to when trying to ensure I get my good fats in so I wanted to share a great healthy way to get your breakfast, good fat & protein in of course accompanied by my morning cup of tea.
Check it out below & comment below to let me know how you break-fast.
The works is a green tea blended with Moringa leaf, hibiscus and rose hips a great blend that will cover just about everything you need hence the name “The Works”. This blend works well for with morning breakfast to assist in getting in a dose of vitamins, minerals & nutrients.
Here I grabbed sprouted grain bread and accompanied it with avocado a good fat great for cognitive functions and sprinkled hemp seed and chili sauce (cuz I love my spicy). Hemp seed is filled with nutrition being omega 3 rich, protein packed & full of essential vitamins and minerals. Great to add to your smoothies I recommend 2 tbsp per serving.
How do you get your quick breakfast in? Comment below.
I put together this blend with the King’s in mind.

My version of an herbal detox tea.
Let me start by disclaiming, that there is no magical detox tea, juice or food. Our body’s are equipped with kidney’s liver and skin to detox itself, we can either help or hinder this process. (Hence the use of herbal tea to help eliminate bloating, gas and other unwarranted toxins while replenishing the body with essential vitamins and minerals.)
This in turn helps not only boost the immune system but speed up the metabolism aiding the body in getting rid of the things it doesn’t need.
The Regulator is a unique blend that helps regulate the body’s natural defense system including the kidney’s & liver. It’s a blend meant to help keep the digestive system regulated & great as a morning herbal tea if you are detoxing from a specific food or substance. I normally drink this tea as a part of my morning break-fast consumed with raw fruit or a clean breakfast meal if I must. I also follow it up with plenty of H2o. Some of the benefits of the herbs are below:
Green Tea: of course this is the base. Green tea helps boost the metabolism, help manage weight & packed with antioxidants.
Orange Peel: C & A vitamins, fiber, immune booster, heart healthy, enzymes & pectin.
Cinnamon: Anti-inflammatory, anti-microbial, immune booster, phenolic compounds, flavonoids, antioxidants, fights diabetes.
Ginger: Improves digestion, boost metabolism & immune system, breaks downs toxins in organs, lung health.
Senna: laxative properties, anti-bacterial that kills microorganisms, anti-inflammatory,
Fennel: Digestive Aide, lowers Blood pressure, improves respiratory system
Cacao Nibs: high in antioxidants, magnesium, iron, & calcium. Improves cardiovascular system and provides natural energy.
Pomegranate Arils: High in antioxidants, fiber, vitamins & essential nutrients. Lowers BP & helps prevent heart disease.
